This activity explores how sound helps us construct a new sense of everyday life in unfamiliar territory. Walking becomes an act of orientation, and listening, an invisible compass that gradually reveals the complexities of this new landscape. Starting at River Park and walking along the spine of the river, I invite you to relive my experience on my first day in Chicago, after a 14-hour flight from Chile, and how listening became a powerful ally for simultaneously belonging, questioning, and ultimately creating.

River Park is located at 5100 N Francisco Ave. Meet at entrance at the corner of West Argyle St and North Francisco Ave. Please note the rain date for this event is August 8, 2026 10:00 AM → 11:00 AM. RSVP here: https://forms.gle/sAfUTHg15t8nhAj96
