K-A-B ART + SOUND: LISTENING POD officially launches today in celebration of WORLD LISTENING DAY with its inaugural episode, Lulla-Bio-Acoustics – Estuary Sounds.
As its name suggests, this new podcast is all about taking the time to truly listen. In our fast-paced modern age, filled with constant scrolling and online hopping, we seldom pause to fully tune in.
From eco-acoustics and bio-acoustics to sound art and compositions, the K-A-B ART + SOUND : Listening Pod aims to create moments of stillness and auditory engagement.
To mark World Listening Day and 2024’s theme LISTENING TO THE WAVE OF TIME, we launch with a programme of binaural and hydrophone recordings of an Estuary / North Sea soundscape.
The event will be recorded on the morning of World Listening Day and broadcast the same evening, Thursday, July 18, UK time.
