SUMMARY:Soundtrackcity Live Audio Stream Bokum
DESCRIPTION:On World Listening Day 2026\, Soundtrackcity will provide a rar
e live audio stream from the Dutch Wadden Sea coast.\nA multitude of diffe
rent bird species forage on the large mudflats of the Wadden Sea. At high
tide\, they all seek refuge in higher areas. Our live stream\, placed prec
isely in one of these higher areas\, gives you the chance to hear the gath
ering of the birds from your home. Be sure to listen at night when the bir
ds are especially vocal. There are also fewer mechanical sounds at night\,
such as those from ferries\, fishing boats\, and the nearby military trai
 ning area.

ONS VAROLII\, a work by pianist and composer Simão Costa\, featuring vide
o by filmmaker Mário Melo Costa\, which will take place at Teatro São Lu

ogue between the piano\, the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa\, and the
acoustic landscape produced from the metal grid of the 25 de Abril Bridge\
, transforming it into musical material and challenging the boundaries bet
ween classical music and acoustic ecology.Inspired both by the architectur

the Pons Varolii — the work celebrates the imperative need to create co

t only evokes the exercise of freedom\, in the year in which Lisbon’s ic

DESCRIPTION:Primera etapa del proyecto de escucha. He realizado grabaciones

DESCRIPTION:For WLD we organized a work of transmission art by accepting th
e form of Italian sound artist photographer Carlo Fei.\nI contradiction to
any radio timing we broadcast his 8-hour piece Ham Sa (2012) in 3 slots\,
a radio adaptation of the entire work that is scheduled to last 72 hours.
\nThe diagonality of this action occurs by considering time with an obliqu
e linearity to the radio clock. Ham - sa crosses diagonally both the radio
space and the time that governs it\, bringing listening into a prismatic
threshold.\nWe are so excited to share here that CHIGIANAradioarte\, the w
eb radio and special radio-sound and\ntransmission art section of the Chig
iana International Festival\, is celebrating its 10th edition!\nThis year
the Festival's theme "Drifts" inspires to talk about diagonal movements\,
suggesting paths that are not\nnecessarily linear\, Diagonal is then a geo
metric element that indicates depth and ulteriority compared\nto the real
that too often appears insurmountable. It refers to the idea of an intuiti
on to be guarded and explored.\nCHIGIANAradioarte is a media-stage open bo

Chigiana International Festival\, celebra la sua decima edizione!Quest’
anno il tema del Festival "Derive" ispira a parlare di movimenti in diagon
ale\, suggerendo percorsi nonnecessariamente lineari\, Diagonale è allora

Ham - sa attraversa in diagona
le sia lo spazio radiofonico che il tempo che lo regola\, portando l'ascol
 to in una soglia prismatica.\n&nbsp\;

SUMMARY:Dar a Ouvir. O Som de todas as Coisas (8th Edition)
DESCRIPTION:Dar a Ouvir is co-organized by the Educational Service of Jazz
ao Centro Clube and by the Convento São Francisco / Coimbra Municipality.
\nThe project is rooted in a previous Jazz ao Centro Clube initiative - th
e Coimbra Historical City Centre Sound Archive - that emerged in 2013 out
of an invitation to the filed recordist Luís Antero.\nThe Archive is born
out of the willingness to show the importance of soundscapes to our under
standing of the world around us. It tried to tackle questions like "Which
sounds does our city incorporates? How many of them are at risk (and why)?
What can we learn about the specificities of the communities in a city (s
 patial communities\, neighborhoods\, professional communities\, etc.) thro
ugh its sonic dimensions?\nIn 2016\, with the interactive Sound Furniture
MS01\, the Archive was made available to the audiences for a artistic\, ed
ucational and playful exploration. MS01 was the fruit of a partnership bet
ween Jazz ao Centro Clube and the  Computational Design and Visualization
Lab.\, a research group belonging to the Cognitive and Media Systems Grou
p (Centro de Informática e Sistemas da Universidade de Coimbra).\nMS01 da
s at the basis of the appearance\, in 2017\, of the Dar a Ouvir Festival.
In it's context\, the Archive has been fundamental to raise awareness to l
istening and to sound has a source of discovery and knowledge.\n::::::::::
 ::\nThis year\, between July 18th and September 1st\, DAR a OUVIR renews t
he invitation to discover listening practices has key to our rapport with
the planet. It does that through a artistic program that receives artists
from several parts of the world - Brazil\, Slovenia\, Spain\, Portugal and
Sweden - having in common the focus of the vast domain of artistic and ac
ademic research around sound\, acoustic ecology and auditory culture.\nThi
s year's Edition deepens some of the questions that were already present i
n previous editions\, namely an interest in the listening of the non-human
 o. The City soundscape retais a central and foundational character\, bus t
