DESCRIPTION:\nuly 18th is world listening day. This year’s theme is “Li
 stening to the Weave of Time”.\n\n\nCome and join us on Castlegregory Be
 ach at 8pm on Thursday\, 18 July\, for an active listening practice. This 
 will be a free style event where everyone is welcome to make a contributio
 n. Feel free to bring blankets\, something to sit on\, tea\, coffee or oth
 er refreshments. If anyone wishes to bring instruments to see how they int
 eract with the natural world\, you are more than welcome.\n\n\nThe World L
 istening Project (https://www.worldlisteningproject.org) is dedicated to u
 nderstanding the world and its natural environment\, societies\, and cultu
 res through the practice of listening. By promoting active listening and a
 coustic ecology\, the World Listening Project aims to raise awareness abou
 t the importance of sound in our lives and its role in shaping our underst
 anding of the world.\n\n\nThis event is supported by Castlegregory Communi
 ty Council and Castlegregory TidyTowns.\n
